In keeping with its mandate the Bureau provides the following services to the Business/Industrial Sector and Public Sector Agencies, some of which are on a cost recovery basis:
- Calibration and Verification of Measures and Weighing
Devices
- Label Assessment
- Product Certification
(through the Certificate of Sale and St. Lucia Standard Mark)
- HACCP Training and Implementation
- Society in Food Hygiene Technology Authorized
Course in Food Hygiene for Food Handlers
- Training in Quality Management and Standardization
- Advice on Product Development
These services are
provided through the various
departments of the Bureau of Standards.
